User Impact: Users experiencing slow response times when using our internet and web filtering services
More info: Opening web pages and surfing the internet can result in slow response times and in some cases cause internet applications to crash or become unusable.
Current status: Looking through the service logs and support cases we have determined that the issue was due to a large number (10,000+) machines requesting updates after being off during the Easter break.
Internet usage levels have now returned to normal and users should now longer be experiencing issues. We are continuing to monitor the situation.
